The Coach House Swiss Restaurant is very popular with local people from all over Cumbria ranging from Whitehaven, Workington, Carlisle, Keswick, Penrith and further afield such as Kendal, Barrow and Windermere.

The restaurant has an excellent reputation for superb food from hearty Lakeland lunches to mouth watering Swiss cuisine based authentic Swiss recipes, using only the finest fresh ingredients. Dinner is served in our intimate Restaurant and lunches are available in the Bar during the day.

We have regular "Fondue Evenings" held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings including meat, swiss cheese and even chocolate fondues. These nights are extremely popular and booking in advance is essential.

The menus are interesting and varied, and change on a regular basis. Dishes make full use of seasonal and local produce wherever possible and everything is freshly prepared.
